About a month ago (around 12:30 am on March 30, Mommy tells me), my widdle brovver died.
I did not know what happened. He was here. Then my humans took him somewhere and they did not return with him. Even when they've taken him before, he usually returned and came to see me again.
This time, he did not and I was very depressed. I pouted and pouted.
Then my grandma brought home a different dog! How dare she do this! I was very grumpy and ornery and did not want to be nice! My Mommy even took me to Petsmart and I was nasty to the other dogs! I was not mean, but I was a total grump and not playing!
My Mommy kept telling me that Micron went to heaven. I finally settled and I have gotten used to the new little dog. He is not the same, but I like him. He tries a lot of funny things and I like to bark at him when he plays. He plays with balls and a little soft frisbee. He even rolls around in the grass. However, he rarely barks.
Anyway, his name is Niblet and I now like him. My humans seem to like him, too, so I guess he's okay.
In March I stole kagomeshuko's purse (-30 points). Last Sunday I set the_waves's puppy on fire (-66 points). In November I gave peacelovemagic a kidney (1000 points). Last Saturday I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In August I bought porn for zorrothedog (-10 points).
Overall, I've been nice (1220 points). For Christmas I deserve a new dolly!
Awhile ago my mommy took me to MY STORE for a party with OTHER DOGGIES! They did not have much of a party, though. Instead, my mommy got my nails cut. They TOOK ME AWAY FROM HER!!! She stood and looked at me, but SHE COULD NOT TOUCH ME!!! I did not like that!!!
Yesterday was fun! I ran out and ran down the street and back and in the yard. I actually ran back in the yard. I must have been in a "good dog" mood because all my mommy had to do was open a door to her truck and I jumped in it!
Then she took me in the house and put me in my house. That was not so fun. I pouted and sighed and barked at her.
A bit later, SHE LEFT ME!!! SHE WAS GONE FOR HOURS!!! I did not like this. I did not give her permission to go anywhere!!! At least my other three humans stayed.
For awhile, I was still in my house. I was let out before my mommy got home, though. I liked that lots!!!
Today, I got to run!!! Mommy put me outside on my chain while the mailman was still in the street. I was very excited and barking and jumping and hoping he would play with me. I was able to take my chain off the house and go running!!! I ran for a bit and then I sniffed in the neighbor's backyard.
They used to have a doggy named Cissy, but they do not have her anymore. They have some smaller inside doggies, though. I like to sniff to see what is in their yard.
Mommy came and took my tie out and she made me come back home. I did not want to go home. I thought that I should be able to sniff and to run some more.
Mommy was not nice enough to let me do this.
I got her back, though! I got in her chair and barked and barked at the noisy trash truck in the street!
Oh, and Mommy needs to take more pictures of me. I have pretty colors and she does not do a very good job of capturing them a lot. I have a pretty tail and a pretty paws! Even the vet said I have such pretty colors!
I am sad and pouting today. My widdle brovver, Micron, is not here right now. His mommy took him to the doggie doctor. I did not get to go to the doggie doctor place and I like that place. Sad.
Even more sad that widdle brovver is not feeling well. He is not here and I cannot play with him!
Mommy says that he has HGE, but I do not know what that is.
The only good thing that happened so far is that Aunt Bana fed me some Reese's Puffs Cereal.
Other not good thing today was thunder. I do not like thunder and there was quite a bit of it this morning. Also, I had to go out in the rain! Ewww. I do not like that stuff!
I want my widdle brovver the most. I miss him already. I know I am praying and I know my family is praying. We are a bit scared about it all and hope he will be okay as the doggie doctor is nice and seems to know exactly what he is doing.
I miss him, but I know if he hadn't gone to the doggie doctor Tuesday night and this morning that he may not have made it at all. He was limp and wouldn't play with me or anybody or even whine or growl when my mommy talked to him and pet him.
I am lonely, Internet. I am worried about my widdle brovver. I miss him!
I am a therapy dog. It is not "official," but my people read laws and since I serve Briana as a therapy dog, I am a therapy dog for her!!! I am so excited about this!!! I am even getting a vest!!!

The other day, my family messed up my living room! They took a chair out of the living room. I was upset, but instead of showing them that I was upset, I just snuffed under it when it was outside. See?
My widdle brovver felt differently, though.
Micron said to his mommy, "Don't take my chair!" See?
Then he begged my mommy to tell his mommy to keep the chair. He said, "This is my chair!" See?
I forgave my family because while they cleaned, I found a lot of peppermints that fell - and one spearmint, too. I look so fierce, but I am just taking the spearmint from Mommy.
My Aunt Bana gave me a peppermint, too. I like peppermints. Here I am being good and waiting to eat one.
In fact, I was very good and told Aunt Bana, "The peppermint looks very yummy. Can I have it now?"
After that, I got to eat the peppermint!
Gramma found a broken peppermint stick. Mommy would eat some of it and she'd also give me some of it! I liked that a lot! At first, i was very good and I'd wait for it.
Mommy would tell me to "share" and to "lick" and I did at first!
Mommy says that this picture captures "me" just like the one where I am snuffing under the chair. She says that when the light hits my eyes in the dark, they do glow green like in this picture.
However, Internetz, peppermint is SOOOOO good that sometimes I would get impatient, bark, and start biting it instead! See?

Then, my mommy and my gramma save me some frozen carrots and some dried noodles and they put a bit of the beef stroganoff noodly stuff they made for dinner on top!!! My favorite!!!
My mommy let me eat some peppermint ice cream that fell on the floor and she let me lick her bowl!!! My favorite!!!
My mommy was really tired and fell asleep.

Hello internet! It is I Marbles!!! I know you had to miss me! You love me, you just must love me because I love you!!! See my tail wagging? No? Well, imagine it!
First, I'd like to address the fact that sometimes Mommy calls me Outlet Nose. She says that she could put a plug in my nose and holds this odd thing that comes off of some of those human machine things up to my nose. She asks if it is two or three prong and says it has to be two prong. I do not get this.
However, she also calls me big nose. Is it really that big? I am okay with that, though, because I sniff lots!
Well, internet. My leg or paw or something is still sore, so I must sleep! I think I will go next to my room or maybe in it and wait for Mommy to come into my room to go to bed.
Ooooh, Ooooh, awhile ago Mommy and Aunt Bana took me to go see Santa Claus!!! Santa Paws wasn't there, but I guess he or she or it was busy!!! It was a lot of fun, though. There were lots of other dogs there and I got to see other people, too!!! I gots to see lots and lots and lots of people!!! Oooh, oooh, and another thing, it's colder outside, and I like to play and get all hyper when it is cold.
Oh, oh, and I forgot, I got my picture taken with Santa!!! Mommy says she'll post the pictures, but she hasn't scanned them yet. I don't know what that means, but whatever - I'm still happy and I know people have seen pictures of me! I am a handsome doggy!!!
Oh, oh, and it's almost MAGIC SOCK TIME!!!! See, the people celebrate the birth of Christ. I don't need to celebrate that 'cause I just know it. I'm an animal.
However, they include us which is a lot of fun. I don't get why they do all this special stuff, but it's still fun! Anyway, they put up this BIG SOCK and then on this day they celebrate IT IS FULL OF GOODIES FOR ME!!!! It is a MAGIC SOCK!!! I want to to be up all year long so it will just give me more and more goodies, but Mommy says it doesn't work that way. I want to know why it doesn't work that way. Isn't it just a bottomless sock that always gives me goodies?!?! I mean, I bark at it! Doesn't that make it work?!?!?
Anyway, I found this version of an ONLINE MAGIC SOCK!!!! Maybe I'll get some stuff in it.
Will the things become real if they are put in it??? Eh, at least I know you like the THOUGHT of giving me stuff even if it doesn't become real.
yesterday was a special day because I went to petsmart for the howl-o-ween party and I made a new friend named Hershey!!! I wanted to play and play and play. Mommy says I'm 10 and Hershey's 1, but I was the one that wanted to play and Hershey was tired, so I think she might be wrong!!! I am a tired doggie right now, so I will not write much.
Also, I got to visit the doggies that mommy doggiesat, so i was really happy about that! I liked visiting them and I loved their yard!!! I don't get to go out in a yard like that, so I was very happy!!!
Mommy has pictures of the party, but she says she has to find that USB cord thing again.
I don't have a picture to show you today. That is Mommy's fault! I do have news! Today, I got to ride in Mommy's truck!
Gramma was driving, and they took me all the way from the front door to the driveway!!! I was so excited!!! I got to see Cissy. Mommy says that her people don't want us to visit her which means I can't visit her, either. She looks very loney in her fence in her back yard.
Mommy put my fleasy stuff on me! I do not like that fleasy stuff!!! I did get my goodie, though! Mommy says that I need it for something called "heartworm prevention," but it is just a goodie!!! I wish I could have more!!! Mommy says I only get one per month.
I still need at least one icon. Mommy just says to wait.

Awhile ago my friend zorrothedog wrote about nicknames. I figured that I would write about nicknames, too.
My mommy says that dogs are given one official name (and she even gives them FULL names, as do some of her friends) and that they collect MANY nicknames. I think she is right and this is perfect.
My full name is Marbles Houndini Delaney. When Mommy says it a certain way, I know I am in trouble.
One of my first nicknames was "Mr. M." I think this is a cool nickname because it sounds kind of mysterious. I also have the nicknames of "Sir Barks-A-Lot," which is okay and "Prince Scratch-A-Belly" which is a really great nickname.
My mommy calls me her boojabear. The oo is kinda flat and stretched and the j is said like the "zh" sound.
This is a picture when mommy might call me that and might try to snuggle! Sometimes I don't want her to snuggle - I like to be in MY chairs alone!
I am also called brat, noisepot, and dummy. Those are not such cool names, but I think all dogs are called that, so I do not complain. I know that Mommy loves me and she is just calling me fun nicknames. I really do not care.
I also have the nickname of "Tuxedo Mask Dog" because my Aunt Bana said that I look like the character Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon because of my colors.
Mommy also calls me "Outlet Nose" because she says it looks like she could put a two prong plug into my nose and it would fit.

Then, I'm also "Big Flirt" because I do flirt with people! I walk by and wink at them! I like to flirt because I am a friendly doggy!
Of course, Mommy calls me "baby."
Then, also, my mommy says that it is fun to make up scientific sounding nicknames. She says that my full scientific is name is Bratus Maximus Maximus. While brat is not cool, I think this name sounds pretty cool.
This brings me to Micron. His full scientific sounding name is Bratamus Maximus Minimus.
We are both Bratamus Maximi and Bratami.
Micron is also "the one and only Minji mutt." He is "Parsnip." He is also "Radar Ears." My mommy also calls him "Thumbprint Nose."
Some of his other nicknames are Bully (because he thinks he's fierce), Blinky (he blinks a lot), Prince of Pillows (he likes laying on pillows and I let him say they are his), and lil bit.
This is Micron being a bully (actually, he's playing, but he looks a lot like this when he's a bully).
He also gets called brat, dummy, and noisepot.
Oh, Mommy says that I need some journal icons, but she has not had time to really make any of me (or of my little brother). She says if anybody wants to make any, she'll be thankful and if I could I'd give you lots of doggie kissies!
Saxon is a 5 year old German Shepherd police dog with 4 years of distinguished service in the UK. there is a loving home with his handler where he could retire with the dignity and respect he deserves, but Saxon is at high risk of being destroyed only because his time of service is up. PLEASE help be the voice for this faithful canine.
